Doing Our Best

It's been a little over a year now since we, Roger and Julie Hoy, assumed ownership here at Geppetto's. The outpouring of support has been amazing. Our dedicated staff has provided great food and service to our many satisfied customers. 

We are thankful for the continued interest and support of David Hoy (past owner) and Tom Barsotti (original owner).  They are keeping us in line and on track to keep up the Geppetto's traditions. 

The past year has brought many repairs and a few important changes; the grill, the freezer, the AC, the oven, the pasta cooker, the plumbing, the alarm system and even the Geppetto's sign out front. The water ban has made for an interesting month but we're making it happen. We are using bottled water for all of our cooking, food prep and drinking. Bagged ice and bottled soft drinks are pouring just fine! We are a resourceful bunch.

Our passion here is great food and friendly service. Our hope is that each guest will feel first, not last in a long line. Cleanliness is a must and we work hard to ensure a pleasurable dining experience for everyone.

We now offer beer and wine along with our full menu for delivery. Our delivery range includes almost every address in Salem!

We have a customer appreciation program through Fivestar. Give us your phone number and with each purchase you will earn one point per dollar spent. Reach a certain number of points and begin to redeem your rewards. Should you elect to receive text notifications, we'll shoot you a message now and then about specials and such. 

Some of the Airstream Convention folks, camped at the fairgrounds, have been happy customers here this week. Come in and give us a try. We take reservations and they are a good idea, especially if there will be more than five in your party.

As a final note: Roger wanted to let you know that he loves me. Fact is... I love him too. We have suffered some and laughed much through our first year of "Restaurant Ownership Immersion School." This is an adventure to say the least.
