Geppetto’s Log - Stardate 042820.1

Support for Geppetto’s Front Line fund has come to our area from out of state! I grew up in a small town in the state of Washington. We were a smaller town in 1983, the year I graduated from high school. We were quite the tight knit group. Classmates have road tripped to Geppetto’s a few times to dine. We have sat together here in this place talking and laughing for hours. I consider myself quite blessed to know them and to still be in touch. Classmate,

Helen Emory Stauffer reached out tonight to purchase a gift card for Geppetto’s Front Line fund. Then went so far as to send out this message to our Class of ‘83 group. I’ve heard from others back home too! My High school French teacher, 
Susan Weingarten and another dear friend, Dawn Craig, (too young to be a classmate), donated too. They are also, not living in our area. They are simply thoughtful and generous, kind and loving people. Caring about those on the front line of COVID-19, no matter which town or state they’re in. My heart has been touched by you. May God richly bless you all. And... if I could hug you... I would! I feel like we’re all floating in a river of love.
