A shout out across light years to those who say, “yes” first and figure out how as it comes. I waited to post a thank you... to Robin Huffman Johnson and Michelle Teeples
... mostly because I didn’t want them to be inundated with requests. Truth is... Immediately after the shutdown they swooped in to help, offering their talents in service. They made enough masks for each of our staff to have two. As we consider opening for dine in... and not tomorrow... we are donning those masks... in preparation... hanging clear vynil and continuing to get ready for what may be the normal for some time. Bleh. We want nothing more than to see your smiling faces and to smile right back at you. For now... we figure out how we might function with any proposed “Phase.” This is uncomfortable and hard. We don’t want to be reminded of all that is, unfortunately, true. These are strange times. The good news in this is... we have people in our lives who jump into action. Robin and Michelle did that. They are the kind of people each of us needs in our lives. We are taking this opportunity to say, bless you and thank you!
