"Are you still coming to get me?" That was the text message I received this morning from Marvin, one of our fabulous servers. He's cross trained in serving, kitchen prep and pizza. He needed a ride to the restaurant and I offered to pick him up in West Salem. We are open for lunch now on Saturday and Sundays. Marvin and our 23 year server/bartender, Jamie, are handling all delivery and takeout orders before 2:00. Well... wanting to support local business, hungry and craving Annette's in West Salem for breakfast food, I ordered up enough for the four of us and then some. I drove to pick up the food and returned in time to receive Marvin's text. I drove all the way to West Salem, picked up the food and forgot Marvin! We are all together now.
